One of the greatest concerns I hear from the people of Greenville is the lack of transparency from our current administration. Decisions are made behind closed doors, and the community is often left in the dark. As your Mayor, I will change that.
How I will bring transparency to Greenville:

Host monthly town hall meetings to provide updates and hear directly from the community

Create a public-access city budget portal so citizens can see exactly where tax dollars are being spent

Livestream all city council meetings and post full recordings online for public viewing

Establish a Mayor’s Advisory Board made up of everyday citizens from each district to ensure every voice is heard

Provide quarterly reports on city projects, progress, and performance
I believe that the people should never feel like outsiders in their own government. With me as Mayor, your voice will be central to every decision.
Real Economic Development for Real People
Greenville has untapped potential. I believe we can transform our city into a hub of opportunity by bringing in businesses that pay livable wages and invest back into the community. I already understand what it takes to lead a community forward and I have been building relationships with developers, business leaders, and stakeholders who are ready to help Greenville grow.
Here’s how I will drive economic development:

Leverage our strategic location along Interstate 65 to develop both exits with retail, industrial, and restaurant opportunities

Partner with industrial service providers to create high-quality jobs that support working families

Recruit national retailers and small businesses by highlighting Greenville’s location, workforce potential, and growth opportunities

Use increased city revenue from new businesses to pay down existing debt and reinvest in public services and departments

Work with commercial developers to build shopping centers and job-creating industries near the I-65 corridor
With smart growth and strategic planning, we will create a Greenville where our young people can stay, work, and thrive.
Tackling Our Housing Crisis
Affordable and accessible housing is essential for a healthy community. Right now, Greenville lacks the housing options needed to support our families, workforce, and future growth. As Mayor, I will work with both private and public developers to bring more housing to our city.
My housing plan includes:

Attracting developers to build affordable single-family homes and apartment complexes

Identifying city-owned land that can be repurposed for housing development

Using available state and federal housing grants to offset construction costs and reduce rent prices

Offering incentives to developers who commit to building in underserved neighborhoods
By providing safe, affordable housing, we will create stability for our families and attract new residents and professionals to our city.
Investing in Our Infrastructure and Neighborhoods
Our city’s infrastructure has been neglected for too long. From storm drain issues to crumbling sidewalks, many areas of Greenville have been left behind. As Mayor, I will work aggressively to improve the infrastructure of every district.
My housing plan includes:

Addressing long-overdue storm drainage problems that affect homes and roads

Installing new sidewalks and upgrading old ones to ensure safer walking conditions for residents

Revitalizing blighted neighborhoods and removing unsafe or abandoned properties that pose risks

Investing in beautification projects for each district and strengthening our identity as a welcoming city

Securing state and federal grants to restore and modernize our downtown area, making it a vibrant destination for both locals and visitors
I believe in building a city we can all be proud of street by street, block by block.

While those four priorities will be at the top of my agenda, I am also committed to working on several other critical areas that impact the future of Greenville:
Reviving Our Hospital
Our local hospital has struggled financially for several years, and that affects every family in this city. I will meet regularly with the hospital board to understand where restructuring and support Is needed .
I will also work closely with our State Representative and Congressman to explore every available avenue of federal assistance for our rural hospital, from grants to innovation funding, to help us restore top-tier medical care for our residents.

Creating after-school tutoring programs for students who need additional academic support

Partnering with local businesses and trade programs to offer apprenticeships for high school students

Helping fund enrichment programs and curriculum-based initiatives that empower students and prepare them for the workforce
