A proud graduate of Greenville High School, Jae’Ques was born and raised in the City of Greenville. After earning his degree from The Alabama State University, he made the intentional decision to return home to give back to the city that shaped him. Family is at the heart of everything he does. Jae’Ques is a devoted husband and a proud father of two beautiful daughters. Beyond his public service, Jae’Ques serves as a Safety and Training Manager for a major transportation company. His professional expertise in safety, risk management, and emergency preparedness has equipped him with a sharp understanding of what it takes to protect and enhance the lives of Greenville residents. His commitment to safety is not just a job, It is a passion that influences his leadership style and vision for a safer, stronger city.
Jae’Ques also works at Hudson Funeral Services, a trusted local small business that has served the Greenville community for over 70 years. His role there reflects his heart for people during their most vulnerable moments and his deep appreciation for tradition, service, and dignity. This hands-on connection to a cornerstone of the community shows his respect for Greenville’s history and his desire to invest in its future.
In addition to his civic and professional responsibilities, Jae’Ques serves as Pastor of New Pilgrim Baptist Church. Under his leadership, the church has become a beacon of hope, outreach, and empowerment, addressing both the spiritual and practical needs of the community. He leads with compassion, teaches with clarity, and serves with unwavering faith. His ministry reflects his broader commitment to uplifting people and strengthening families.
